Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Threadford, we are committed to delivering quality products and exceptional customer service. We understand that there may be times when a return or refund is necessary. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted, how to request a return, and the responsibilities of both the customer and Threadford. By making a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms below.


2. Returns & Eligibility

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the items meet the return conditions outlined below.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in its original condition – unused, unwashed, with all tags, labels, packaging, and components intact.

  • Items must not show signs of excessive use, wear, or damage. We do not accept returns for items damaged due to mishandling or improper care.

  • Slight size deviations (2–3 cm) or minor imperfections do not constitute defects.

  • For defective items, customers must contact us immediately upon delivery and provide clear photographic evidence before initiating a return.

  • Hygiene-sensitive items must be sealed and unused to be eligible.

  • Return requests must be submitted via email. Do not return any item without prior confirmation from us.

  • Threadford reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these terms or to apply a restocking fee for mishandled items.

  • Return shipping is at the customer's expense.

  • Items marked “Final Sale” or “Clearance” are strictly non-returnable.

Approved returns will be processed within 7 working days of receipt and refunded via the original payment method.


3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at info@threadford.co.uk with:

    • Your order number

    • Full name

    • Reason for return

    • Clear photos of the item (including any defects, if applicable)

  2. Our team will respond with return instructions and a designated return warehouse address. As we operate multiple fulfilment centres across the UK and Asia, return locations may vary.

  3. Do not return items to the sender’s address on the package.

  4. Once received and inspected, we will notify you of your return status within 7 working days.

Please note: We do not offer prepaid return labels. Customers must use a trackable shipping method. Threadford is not liable for lost return packages.


4. Order Cancellation & Withdrawal

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once processed and dispatched.

  • If you wish to cancel an order, contact us immediately. Once an item is in transit, cancellation is no longer possible — you will need to follow the return process.

  • Return shipping costs for withdrawal (non-defective items) are non-refundable.

  • A restocking fee may apply for returns that don’t fully comply with our conditions.


5. Refund Processing & Exceptions

Refunds will be issued within 14 working days after we receive and inspect your return, depending on your payment provider’s timeline.

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • The item fails to meet return eligibility criteria.

  • The item is returned used, worn, washed, or damaged.

  • The item is marked Final Sale or Clearance.

  • The return parcel is lost due to non-trackable or unverified shipping methods.

  • The customer fails to provide proof for defect claims.

Incorrectly returned items will need to be retrieved at the customer's cost. In some cases, partial refunds or store credits may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.


6. Shipping & Return Costs

All orders from Threadford are shipped free of charge to you. However, return shipping is your responsibility unless the item is defective.

Since we fulfil orders from multiple warehouses in the UK and Asia, the return address will be assigned based on where your item was shipped from.

We highly recommend using trackable shipping. Threadford is not responsible for return parcels lost in transit.


7. Additional Considerations & Legal Compliance

Threadford complies with applicable UK consumer protection laws. If a product is faulty, unsafe, or significantly different from its description, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

We monitor return activity and reserve the right to refuse returns or block service for customers engaging in abusive or excessive return practices.

Certain hygiene-sensitive products are non-returnable, unless found defective upon delivery.

Threadford reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review the policy periodically.
